Yoga. Some think it has been around for as long as 10,000 years! Moving through various forms and sacred texts, it was brought to the west in the late 1800s where it has been consistently gaining popularity ever since.
The heart of yoga is practice, practices from which we can gain a wealth of benefits. Physically, yoga helps us to improve our strength and flexibility through systematically stretching and releasing the muscles in our bodies. Breath-work, meditation and relaxation practices can also help us feel more grounded, balanced and calm.
I believe that yoga can benefit everyone, no matter age, experience or ability of pretzel type bending!
